Verran Target Audience

My main target audience would be students aged between 11-18 years old. I feel this is the right target audience because they will be the ones that will be walking around school and seeing copies, I also feel it is important for them to read because it will keep them up to date with what events and opportunities are up and coming.

My secondary target audience will be the teachers because some of the articles in the magazine would appeal to them as well as the students. It will also be an opportunity for them to learn and keep up to date with what their students are doing outside of the curriculum.

I wouldn’t have a main social class that I would be aiming to appeal to as there is a range of different social classes between students but all the opportunities are open to everyone and the magazine would be free to all students and teachers, therefore social class doesn’t matter.
